Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your WinkBack account and all associated data.

Option 1 — Delete inside the app (instant)

If you still have WinkBack installed, this is the fastest way:

1 Open WinkBack and go to Settings.

2 Tap your profile → Edit Profile.

3 Tap Delete My Account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access it, email us to request deletion:

kkytech.apps@gmail.com

Use the subject line "Delete My Account".
Send it from, or include, the phone number registered to your WinkBack account so we can verify the request.

We will delete your account and associated data within 7 days and send you a confirmation email.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your profile — phone number, display name, date of birth, country, and profile photo.
Your messages and chat metadata stored on our servers.
Your chat media (images, GIFs, and videos) hosted on our providers.
Your presence, notification token, and privacy settings.
Your two-step verification PIN and recovery email, if you set one.

Note: messages you already sent to other people may remain in their chat history, and disappearing media is removed automatically at its expiry. Your device's own contacts are never uploaded, so there is nothing to delete on our side for those.
